Their repertoire is more Ventures influenced. Their first album on CD will be issued soon. In minor cities, there are also very active instrumental bands such as Jukebox (from Rio Claro) and The Boogie Shuffles (from Jundiaí). They usually do the ballroom circuits at weekends and have a repertoire based on Ventures and Shadows covers. In 1997, Dick Dale has toured in three Brazilian cities with excellent audiences, showing that instrumentals are alive in Brazil... |
